Virtual Numbers & Long Codes

Virtual numbers offer a high-volume two-way SMS solution which can receive up to 100 SMS messages per second.

A virtual number works like a normal mobile number. Once you have purchased one you will be able to receive text messages to it as you would a regular mobile number. Friends, customers or anybody with a mobile* will be able to send SMS text messages to you or your application via our international sms gateway API.

Virtual Numbers are non-premium, which means that users who send MO SMS messages to a virtual number will only be charged at their standard rate (the rate their carrier charges to send text messages.

We provide Long Codes (Virtual Numbers) with two levels of network coverage:

Basic (Tier 2)
Advanced (Tier 1)

Basic (Tier 2) Virtual Numbers:
There are no per-message charges to the ReminderConnection customer within our Basic Network, simply an annual rental fee, allowing complete control of costs.

Advanced (Tier 1) Virtual Numbers:
As our Advanced Network provides more extensive coverage there will be a small switching fee (1/3 credit) for incoming (MO) messages.
